Pong

Here's one asinine video by ANC commissioner and busybody Frank Winstead, who asks whether it's safe that people play ping-pong on a table out front of Comet. Maybe not, but God deliver us the city in which this is a problem worth attention.

I'm gonna risk it all tonight. First, though, I hope to see some rhetorical table tennis as Bob Novak takes all comers at Politics & Prose.

All that video needs is some really dramatic music and a deep voice asking those questions out loud, ending with, "HOW MANY MORE HAVE TO DIE?"

Good thing nothing actually dangerous or illegal is happening in our nation's capital today.

OMFG. How about that ANC shmuck chases his ball into traffic? (In a related story, I'm voting against him next time.)

The real issue here is that there's a very slight slope to the sidewalk on that block, causing an unfair advantage to the player on the south (or uphill) side of the table.

Now that's a tip!

i heard dc was dangerous, but this is just shocking
i feel safer knowing that somebody is on this. think of the damage a ping pong ball can do!

or the often underestimated damage that fun can cause.

this country is falling apart.

End pong now!

Oh, the Humanity!

Really, this is just another reason why ANCs should be eliminated from DC law. It is unnecessary to have this kind of retarded oversight.
