It's up! Eye Level, a blog I'm writing for the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Click-click.
UPDATE: Wow, busy day. I'm post-Turkey Day thankful for links from Tom, JL, The Governess, Roxanne, and Tyler. Sorry if I missed any others.
(I can't help it—I simply have to point out my preferred nomenclature for the punny one-liner: "the eyes of ____ are upon you.")
Posted by Kriston at November 28, 2005 11:54 AMHey, congrats. Presumably this is a multi-blogging thing; you won't be giving up G.p, right?
Posted by: Sean at November 28, 2005 1:33 PMI don't think so, no. But there might be some changes in store.
Posted by: Kriston at November 28, 2005 2:02 PMCongratulations, Kriston! Maybe you can turn GP into a site for survival tips for Yankees venturing into Texas for the first time. I'm most likely headed to Austin in March for SXSW Music so that I can gorge myself on live music and shatter what's left of my eardrums. I'm deathly afraid of what will happen to me when I inevitably get drunk and attempt to mess with Texas.
Posted by: Drew at November 28, 2005 2:43 PMYeah, you don't want to do that. But let me know before you go and I'll tell you some cool SXSW spots that are off the map. I don't know all the coolest stuff going on in Austin these days, but the smaller bars do unofficial SXSW shows, some of which get pretty rowdy.
Posted by: Kriston at November 28, 2005 2:58 PMIndeed, congratulations!
The eyes of the snowclone world are upon you, surely.
Posted by: son1 at November 28, 2005 4:48 PMI'm supposed to be going with a bunch of SXSW Music veterans, so hopefully they'll be able to guide me towards some good stuff. I'll definetly hit you up for suggestions before going though.
Posted by: Drew at November 28, 2005 6:15 PMjesus, all those links, plus the one on drum's site must've pushed your early hits through the roof. fucking congrats.
Posted by: matty at November 29, 2005 3:25 AMDid you see that you got mentioned in the Express today?
Posted by: charles at November 29, 2005 3:29 PMThe link does not currently work, for my browser at least. Still working out the bugs over there, perhaps?
Posted by: Dimmy Karras at November 29, 2005 5:46 PMSI's having some technical difficulties today, I think.
Posted by: Kriston at November 29, 2005 6:06 PMCongrats on a well deserved gig!
Posted by: Sarah at November 30, 2005 12:29 AMthanks for all information.I like it.
