I still see the old banner in Safari, and that bottom, f'ed up grey border shows up in Firefox and IE. But, you know, I know what I look like.

There is no reason this shouldn't work in any browser. There was no change to the css or html. All I did was replace the header gif.

When I checked this morning it worked in all my browsers. Probably I was just drunk last night.

. . . well, definitely I was drunk last night, and probably that was the problem.

for the record on the peeing in the snow picture, it was more legible (visually, anyway) if you saw the whole thing, in which capps was pointing to a DC subway map and yglesias' blurred face was falling out of the left-hand frame.

...anyways... where'd you get this photo, capps? i like it, especially in B&W. although, it does seem a little serious. i've got a picture of you that i think you should post in that space once or twice a month, whenever you want to lighten G.p up a bit... i'll try to get that to you in the next day or so.

If it's the Soviet picture from the KART house I'll (ask Justin to) put it up right now.

As for the pic, I took it, I was trying to figure out one of my camera's settings or something and it came out all Friendster-y.

and as for a rotating, randomly selected banner, how hard is that to set up? i think i'd like something like that when i redesign mr. wright.

Not that we don't love staring at a constellation of Kriston images, but I imagine you might get some flak for featuring a kaleidescope of photos of yourself. Well, I'd tease you anyway.

well, the images wouldn't necessarily be of me. not that i don't have more than enough self-portraits to make that work, but i just meant in general.

and if we're going to put up a picture of kriston on my banner, it's going to be the one that everyone says makes his look "special."

Correction: I see the old banner on IE and the new on Firefox. The new picture is much better. No more snow peeing, thank you. The new slogan - I get it. Beautiful.
